Natalie Chapman, on Founding Gemaker

Did you ever thought of a brilliant idea as a rough gemstone?

That's a what Natalie Chapman thinks researchers and inventors have, a rough gem that needs a great deal of polishing before becoming an actual Gem.

With a bachelor in chemistry, an MBA and a decade of marketing, communication and tech transfer experience, she decided that there was a better way to accelerate this process and founded Gemaker ! A successful commercialization agency, helping  researchers and innovative businesses take their ideas to the people they can help.

Gemaker has been in the business for over 12 years and employs around 20 people with many different expertise.

The team won multiple awards including the Telstra Business award for microbusiness, and winning this award was definitely a great boost in credibility and associated business.
